Hostel Policies

Please review our policies regarding reservations, check-in, shared spaces, and guest conduct to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for yourself and others. Mahalo.

Booking

Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made through our website. Cash payments are accepted in person only with limited check-in times. Please call (808) 967-7950 or email holoholoinn@gmail.com to inquire.

Cancellation Policy

Online bookings have a 2-day cancellation policy. Cancellations made at least two days prior to check-in will receive a full refund. Cancellations within two days of arrival or no-shows will be charged for the stay.

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: 4:00–9:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum in sleeping areas and shared spaces during these hours to ensure a restful stay for all guests.

Shared Spaces

Be mindful of fellow guests, shared spaces, and the island you are visiting. We appreciate your care and respect.

No Smoking

Smoking is not permitted indoors, including e-cigarettes. Please step outside to smoke and fully extinguish any embers.

Overnight Guests

Overnight stays are limited to registered guests only. Additional visitors must be registered and paid to stay overnight.

Damages

Guests may be held responsible for the cost of any damage to rooms, furnishings, or shared spaces caused during their stay. We appreciate your care in helping us maintain a welcoming environment for everyone.

Parking

Free parking is available at the adjacent Old Japanese School House. The driveway may be used briefly for loading and unloading luggage.
